NO, IT'S NOT HER TIME by Queen C. Pinkston
On a typical Saturday afternoon in my Home-Based Music School, I was teaching a Voice Class, and my 96-year-old Mother was her usual self in her room-watching TV after having her breakfast and morning medications. Before I continue, let me state that for a long while now privately and in my local church, I had been doing a Bible Study on Mark 11:22-26.
It reads: Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever you desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any; that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses."
It had gotten into my mind and my spirit. I did not fully understand why I was studying this particular scripture for such a long time and making it a part of my everyday life.
Back to Saturday afternoon around 1:30 pm, I heard the "voice of God; the Holy Spirit "speak in my inner ear a command to "check on your Mom." It was so sudden and urgent that I had to move right then without question. When I walked the ten steps to her room and opened her door, she was in her recliner in Respiratory Arrest (cessation of normal breathing) with Bradycardia (heart rate of about 12 beats per minute). I immediately cleared our house of all students and called 911, and my husband, who was at the kitchen table, assisted me.
My Declaration,""No, it is not her time; she told me she was going to live to be a hundred."
Once the Firemen and the Ambulance attendants arrived, I was a nervous wreck. Yet, I could only say one phrase, "No, it is not her time; she told me she was going to live to be a hundred." You see, Mom had just celebrated her 96th birthday on June 30th and had prayed for the congregation at church and blessed everyone with a long life. She said to me while eating a piece of her birthday cake that she was 96, and 97 was on the way. Mom is the Mother of the Faith Covenant National Church of God, Rochester, NY, The Akoma African American Women's Gospel Choir of Rochester, NY, who is the Founder of the Nona Patterson Chambers Scholarship. She is a Gospel Singer, Mother of ten children. She had two daughters and one son alive to date.
She is a Grandmother, Great grandmother, and a Great Great-grandmother. She wanted to live. However, it did not matter how much she wanted to live. It did not matter that she was the Mother of the Church. It did not matter about her having a large family who loves her very much. It did not matter about her having the Nona Patterson Chambers Scholarship. It did not even matter that I knew her wishes.
The Only Thing That Mattered: She had a healthcare power of attorney that permits you to name a healthcare proxy or agent ( a person who will make medical decisions on your behalf if you are unable to make them yourself)—signed by an attorney. This permitted me to stand in the gap for her when she was not able to speak for herself. Mom lived to be 101 years old. Mom is alive and well and has no symptoms of ever having the attack. Doctors, Amazed The doctors were all amazed and stated," we've never seen anyone regardless of age recover quickly and entirely as Mrs. Chambers. She is an amazing woman of God and still has work to do upon this earth.
Oh, there have been lots of sicknesses but never to hear the Doctor say over and over again that she only had 24 hours to live, and since she is 96 years old, just let her go. I had to advocate for her desires. She recovered and lived to the age of one hundred and one. She went to heaven peacefully at home, holding my hand. Esther Pinkston.
Hebrew 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Ecclesiastes 3:1 "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die,"
Our concern is to be able to allow God our heavenly Father through the Holy Spirit to determine when it is time for us to leave this earth. Until then, we are to Declare, affirm, assert, and protest implies making something known emphatically, openly, or formally. To declare is to make known, sometimes in the face of actual or potential contradiction: to say someone is the winner of a contest.
Job 22:28 "Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways." 22:29 "When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up, and he shall save the humble person." To declare is the act of saying aloud what we want in our life in front of one or several people who can witness our words.
The declaration is the art of not keeping for ourselves what we see possible in our lives. It is the creative act of starting to make it possible and REAL by giving it a real place in our conversations. A declaration is a powerful tool that allows us to go from AUTOMATIC PILOT to INTENTIONAL MODE declaration will enable us to turn on the radar of what we want ( instead of complaining about what we don't want).
It's great to be a child of God. You are blessed beyond measure, as a child of God, you can never be a victim of any form of circumstances in life. Today we are going to be engaging in the decree and declare prayer points. God has given us authority over all devils and every circumstance. Whatever we don't want, we have the power to reject it, and whatever we desire, we have the authority to bring it to pass.
Mark 11:22-23, makes us understand that with our mouths we can have whatsoever we say. Therefore as you engage in this decree and declare prayer points today, whatever you order and declare shall be your portion in Jesus' name.
A closed mouth is a closed destiny.
As a believer, your mouth is your weapon for deliverance, it's your weapon for change, it's your weapon for supernatural turnarounds. Jesus said, anything you don't want, use your mouth to cast it out, Matthew 17:20, Mark 11:22-24.
You must learn to decree what you want and reject everything you don't want in your life. Our declarations of faith will always be honored and confirmed by God. Everything we bind on earth, bind in heaven, everything we lose on earth is loosed in heaven. Therefore today, we shall be decreeing blessings over our life. We shall order fruitfulness over our life. We shall be decreeing all kinds of benefits over our life, and they all shall be established in Jesus' name.
